The Messiest Fun Around!

Do you love watermelon? Or eating contests? Or getting messy? If you love all or any of these, the Watermelon Eating Contest is definitely your kind of fun.

Held each year during the Meadows Celebration, the Watermelon Eating Contest gives contestants the chance to compete against others in their age group. The goal is to finish the piece of watermelon provided in the least amount of time. Winners are honored for the feat and awarded prizes.

And it's not just for kids! There is no age limit. Age groups include 6-9, 10-15, 16-19 and 20+.

Come on out to the Meadows Celebration at Granger Meadows Park on July 18 and join in the fun! Competition begins at 5:30 p.m. in the east park. No experience necessary.
